Meeting location: Gateway Center on Hwy. 39 in Azusa. North of town where the road narrows to 2 lanes. Look for the large turnout on the right side.

Cejo Lonappan will lead this effort to restore this trail near the East Fork, San Gabriel River that was badly damaged by recent fires and floods. Hike will be up to 2 miles round trip with 500' gain. Most of the work will be restoring tread and cutting back overgrown brush.

We try to accommodate each persons needs regarding tasks and hope that you have a productive and enjoyable experience. We will provide tools but you can bring your own if you prefer.

Long pants, long-sleeved shirt, good boots or hiking shoes are required. Hard hat, gloves and safety glasses can be provided or you may prefer to bring your own. Please be sure to bring plenty of water and your lunch.

We hope to be back to the Gateway Center by 4 pm.
