Please read the whole write up This is one of the better local waterfalls, and the weather looks nice this weekend! The hike itself is 5 miles and 1,000' of elevation gain. The hike itself is not difficult, but there are multiple stream crossings where you can hop across the rocks or logs. There is a chance your shoes may get a little wet if your not careful. The hike culminates with a rope that leads you down to the base of the waterfall. Its not to difficult, but its totally optional. This hike will be a smaller group that hikes together as the stream can sometimes get too slow to cross with larger groups and parking can be harder to find close to the trailhead. There are no restrooms or water at the trail so plan accordingly. Dogs on leash with poop bags are welcome.
*this hike will have a waitlist signup, please answer the question y/n tx.
*please no crashers, if your not on the going list don't show up so the group stays smaller.
*try to stay behind the hike leader so I don't have to yell instructions ahead, there is no hike sweeper so I try to keep an eye on everyone, but if you can't keep up with the group you may need to hike out on your own.
there is a 10 minute grace time before we head out.
*Disclaimer: Hike leader is an unpaid volunteer, by joining this event you assume all responsibility for your own safety.
