Marvin's Adventures. Escondido falls edition.

Join me for another great adventure. Sunday May 17th Escondido falls. Come and enjoy one of the most iconic waterfalls in the Malibu area. Fairly easy well maintain trail. there is a small parking lot for $12 dollars however PCH high is free to park read all the signs and park preferably on the right hand side on the going way. That way avoid crossing the busy highway. what you will see, spectacular views of the pacific ocean. two breath taking waterfalls. the upper fall requires a bit of effort to reach, rock scrambling. bring proper hiking shoes preferably. Tennis or daily wear shoes not recommended. hiking poles not imperative but very useful when going up the upper fall. wear what makes you feel comfortable, sun block, hat, water, snacks, and prepare yourself for a wonderful hike meet new friends that love hiking as much as we all do. The meeting time is 10Am. The hike starts at: 27751 Pacific Coast Hwy, Malibu, CA 90265 in the parking lot area for introductions, Sunday-Funday hike. Note that the attendees must be able to hike at least 4 to 5 miles we will go to a neighborhood for the first 1/2 of mile be mindful this is a residential area. . We want everyone to enjoy the hike and be happy about this adventure. Come and free up your mind from the big city. have and have a nice workout all at the same time. LEVEL: this hike requires the participants to be able to hike at least 4 5 miles. GAIN is about 475 feet of elevation.
LENGTH: the hike is approximate 4 to 5. miles.
BRING: feel free to wear what makes you feel free and comfortable. Trail runners, hiking shoes recommended, bring your hiking poles, and be prepared to have lots and lots of fun
