Parker Mesa overlook

A great hike to do with temperatures warming up this weekend with super views, the hike is 7 1/2 miles with 1600' of elevation gain. The high temps forecast in the upper 60's. Lots of street parking, restrooms at the trailhead and the outhouse near the overlook was open last time I went. The trail is making a comeback from last years fires! We will hike at a moderate pace, briefly stopping at first viewpoint about halfway up the trail, if you aren't feeling energetic to do the whole hike you can simply turn back from here. There is no trail sweep so you may need to hike by yourself if you are unable to keep up. Since this is a state park dogs aren't allowed.
