Wisdom tree, hollywood sign hike, loop down to lake hollywood.

This hike will take us up to wisdom tree on a challenging single track trail, across to cahuenga peak, the hollywood sign, and down to the tyrolean tank viewing area, then through the residential neighborhood and lake hollywood. Stats, 5 1/2 miles, 1,200' of gain. There are some steeper areas and some rockier areas to maneuver making it a moderate hike not suited for beginners. By making this a loop down to lake hollywood, we will avoided the slippery parts of the trail most people take returning down the wisdom tree trail. There is a lot of street parking in the area, but I suggest arriving early as parking close to the meeting location will be full. No water or restroom facilities at the trail head, but there is usually a fruit vendor there :) Some people may find poles helpful.
