UDATES HERE: To be announced in January 2027

Calling all January Birthdays and hikers! Join us on Saturday, January 30, for a fun morning hike at 9:30AM in Griffith Park followed by a coffee and breakfast potluck! Historically, per AI, LA has about 3-5 wet days at most in January. By wet, probably light harmless mist.

The pace will be around 20-21 minutes per mile, but folks can go at their own pace. We will take fire roads/wide trails via Fern Canyon, and Vista del Valle which is mostly flat. The first segment is about 30 minutes of gradual & winding ascent. The 2nd segment is flat, and the last segment is downhill about 30 minutes or so. We head back down by water tank 113 to the picnic area for the Potluck. We will enjoy beautiful views of the city and surrounding area!

If there's heavy rain, the event will be rescheduled. If it's misty, bring umbrellas and your waterproof boots or shoes. Check back for updates later in January 2027!!!
