Urban Hike - Santa Monica north of Wilshire

This really is a walk more than a hike because there are no stairs and almost no hills. It will cover residential neighborhoods in Santa Monica and a bit of Brentwood. Along the way we will see a mosaic tile house, Frank Gehry's house, a park that at one time was an airstrip and aircraft factory, and lots of fantastic Spanish colonial revival houses. Dogs should be fine everywhere.

• Bathrooms: Public bathrooms at Douglas Park and at the Brentwood Country Market
  Parking: there is ample unrestricted parking on Franklin St.
• Rain: postpones the hike
