Details

Like we did back in January we’ll spend 2 nights again in Blair Valley and use that as our base camp to just chillax, do whatever you like, or explore other parts of this vast State Park.

Hiking options include Slot Canyon and the Wind Caves, among other areas.
Entrance to the State Park and camping are FREE.

Blair Valley has many open, dispersed campsites, many with fire rings. This is a very popular area for FREE camping, and fills up quickly on weekends.

Carpooling is encouraged. Please note that each person signing on represents one vehicle. This will give us an idea of how much space we need.
Each open area campsite can handle a few number of vehicles.
Some of us will arrive early to secure and set up camp.

Once you reach Blair Valley proceed to the open parking area by the restrooms and contact us on channel 6 using your walkie talkie or GMRS radio so you’ll be able to touch base and locate us.
If you don’t have a walkie talkie buy a cheap set on Amazon, you’ll have a new toy to play with at camp..:))
