the Scenic Hike ...

Hike Level: Intermediate 5 of 10 - Not a beginners Hike and not a Grunt hike either.
Distance: 5-6 miles
Duration: 2 -3 hours depending on stops and discussions
Elevation Gain: total approx. 1000 feet

This a Level 5 intermediate LA hiking Group scale hike. There will be no "Class 3 hiking" either.

There will be Fire-road and Trail walking, up's and down's ...

Bring water, thick socks, Trail or Hiking shoes and a GpS if you have one.

We will start from Parking Lot 2 (the Merry Go Round parking lot) a straight up up and a way incline hike through the "ankle breaker" area to the Mt. Hollywood area. From there ... down to the Observatory and continuing to the Greek. Then, around the bend, passing the tennis courts and te Driving range until we come across the Landing pad. After the Landing pad it will be an easy going finish to 5 points and the closure to Parking Lot 2 where we started.
