Peak Area Hikes

"This is a fun hike with several fundamental must see icons to witness as we hike through Griffith Park."

Group leaves around 6:00 pm at the latest. Intermediate Level hike. There are few tough hills at a level 6 or 7 yet, everything else is at moderate hiking levels. If you miss this hike please join Craig's Hike at 6:30 pm. Bring water, thick socks, Trail or Hiking shoes and a GpS if you have one.

Mt. Hollywood, Mt. Chapel, Mt. Taco, Mt. Bell, Bee Rock and Razorback Ridge are a few of the must sees on this excursion hike.

Hike Level: 5 to 7 of 10 Intermediate and upper intermediate. NOT a beginner hike.

Distance: 4 miles or maybe a few more.

Duration: more than 2 hours depending on stops and discussions
Elevation Gain: total approx. under 1700 feet.

Level 4: Moderate – Good inclines with some stress on further distance.
No Beginners, No Kids, Most Teens, Dogs, Footwear Recommended, Water Required
Level 5: Moderate – Inclines start to get more intense. Gain and distance goes up.
No Beginners, No Kids, Some Teens, Dogs, Hiking Footwear Recommended, Water Required
