On my way, but running late. Can I catch up with you?

Yeah, I wouldn't go barefoot on this beach. Its honestly not the cleanest beach around as bits of oil seeps through the ground, and garbage from Ballona Creek makes its way here. Save the barefoot for a different beach.

    Steve,

This sounds great. I've never done a sand walk. I'm new to the area and new to hiking. I'm staying in Malibu and this sounds like great preparation for the hikes I plan to do up here.

What hiking boots/shoes do you recommend?
