We will meet right at the park entrance on the northeast corner of Sunset and Temescal Canyon. We will be hiking the canyon side of the loop first, and then coming back down the ridge. We will be done right around sunset (on Sunset!)
This is a moderately difficult hike due to the elevation. However, people who were worried that it would be too much had a great time last time. Also, one woman who felt it was a little more challenging than she anticipated, also had a great time.
This will be the main Temescal Ridge and canyon loop.
The hike will be about 4 miles with a 800/850 elevation gain.
The hike is scheduled for 4:30. We will wait 15 minutes then start hiking at 4:45.
Bring water, snacks, good shoes, and just in case . . . . a headlamp if you have one, although you most likely will not need it.
