Cheviot Hills urban ups and downs hike and Indian dinner at Bawarchi afterrward

NIGHT HIKE THROUGH THE ROLLING HILLS OF CHEVIOT

OK, the sun sets at 5, so I decided to change it up, again. We're not meeting at Kenneth Hahn park this week as it closes at sunset and so the hike would have to start at 3 pm.

WE MEET AT 6:30 pm--So we will walk on a rolling 4 mile--2 hour route through the pretty neighborhoods of Cheviot Hills which are between the 10 freeway and Century City

THE TERRAIN IS ROLLING AND ELEVATION GAIN IS SLIGHT

BRING: water, flashlight, comfortable hiking shoes.

8:40 pm--DINNER AFTERWARD: Bawarchi, a vegetarian and meat dishes Indian "fast food" place with gourmet food and a $10 dinner special ($12 if you get meat). Bawarchi is located at the south west corner of Motor Avenue and Venice Blvd.
