I've been meaning to do this hike with the group for awhile. Although you aren't going to have waterfalls and sheer cliffs here, you find some great rolling open prairies with groves of oak trees in the canyons. The views are great.
This is six miles, approx. 800 ft elevation change, so a little more challenging than the others I've done thus far, but still doable for those with some hiking experience. Otherwise, probably not the best for beginners.
Afterwards, for those interested, we can head to the Sagebrush Cantina for lunch if people want.
Parking is very plentiful and easy. And the trail begins where the road ends.
At the risk of stealing another LAHM hike leaders disclaimer, I am not your mother, but I will remind you anyways, bring plenty of water, appropriate footwear, appropriate clothing for the weather, a snack, sunscreen.
