Children's Protection ritual
Details
Join us on January 30th for a unique Imbolc working honoring the goddess Brigid during her most sacred season.
Brigid is a multifaceted goddess, presiding over the forge and the hearth, poetry and inspiration, healing and protection. In this rite, we will specifically call upon her as nurturer, midwife, and guardian of children. Gathering together in love and intention, we ask Brigid to help us celebrate, bless, and protect the children within our communities—and throughout the world.
This Imbolc, we approach the sabbat through the lens of togetherness and community. To honor this spirit, the ritual will weave together elements of both Ced and Stregheria traditions, creating a beautifully blended working that symbolizes unity, shared responsibility, and collective care for those who depend on us.
This ritual is designed to be family friendly. Children of all ages are welcome to attend with an accompanying adult, and the working will be accessible and meaningful for participants across generations. While people with children are welcome, we also want to make sure that people without children know that they are invited and welcome to participate in the working as well, as we understand that our community is compromised of many different traditions, individuals, families, and covens.
We see this ritual as an act of service to our community and therefore open it to the public free of charge. However, donations are welcome and will be donated to the organization Para Los Niños.
