The “Seneca Reading Group” meets every SECOND and FOURTH Thursday of the month at 7:00-8:00 p.m. PT. The group is currently going through Seneca's Letters on Ethics collected in Graver & Long's Fifty Letters of a Roman Stoic (2025) (https://press.uchicago.edu/ucp/books/book/chicago/S/bo101561446.html).

This meeting will primarily center around Letters 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, and 18 (pp. 17-46). Please do as much reading as you can in advance of the meeting in order to get the most out of the discussion. Lastly, let Justin know if you need a PDF of the translation that we are using.
