Our first event this year comes as a superBowl Hangover for me in particular… that said, we are excited to host this event in conjunction with SVTA (Streaming Video Technology Alliance) and our sponsors for this event.

This event, sponsored by Elecard and Hydrolix, happens during the SVTA Q1 Member Meeting held at WBD offices in Burbank on Tuesday, March 3rd through Thrusday, March 5th. If you are part of an SVTA member company and want to attend, you can register here: https://aro.streamingvideoalliance.org/aro/meeting/svta2026q1/register. You can check out the whole agenda for the meeting here: https://www.svta.org/meeting/q1-2026-los-angeles-ca-march-3rd-4th-and-5th/. If you are not part of a member company but are interested in talking about what membership, just catch JT (Jason Thibeault, CEO - SVTA) at the event.

Join us for an evening of networking and learning about the latest trends in digital video technologies at our Los Angeles Video Technology meetup, this edition at Universal CityWalk. Come mingle with fellow video technologists, learn about cutting-edge technologies like [insert your favorite latest fad] for video, and discover how new advancements are shaping the future of digital video. Whether you're passionate about computer programming, open source software, or simply interested in exploring new technologies, this meetup is the perfect place to expand your knowledge and network with others in the industry. Don't miss out on this exciting event in the heart of Los Angeles!

In conjunction with the SVTA, we have booked a space at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville. This event is cross-posted across multiple social platforms/groups, so please RSVP to ensure there is enough room. Let’s thank our generous sponsors, well known companies in the video space. Some of the SVTA crowd will join us a little later, around 6:45 to 7:00, as their sessions end at 6:30 that day.

When we get to the event, we will let everyone know where in the restaurant to go. If you can't find us, check the comments here or post your location. We will do our best to gather everyone at our shared space in the restaurant. Based on how many people are interested in staying late, we might grab dinner or drinks afterward nearby, so stay close if you're interested :).

As a reminder, we are always looking for people who want to present at future LA Video Meetup events as well as people/organizations willing to host or sponsor.
