Ciao! This is the Hollywood and Westside Los Angeles Italian Language Meetup.
This group is currently being rebooted...
The main focus is learning the Italian language in a social setting. We are not professional teachers, and this club is not a ploy for you to sign up for classes. Our events will be centered on attracting true madrelingue (native speakers) to help our learners. So while other clubs may be centered around just appreciating Italian culture, our emphasis is truly on learning the language in fun conversational settings.
If you have an idea for any type of meeting that promotes practicing Italian, let me know and I can make you host of that event.

If you have ideas that will attract native speakers to our events, please share as well.
Dues will be minimal (perhaps $6 a year) as you'll be expected to contribute in other ways.
Flaking will NOT be tolerated.
