This evening we’ll join fellow members Mike & Alan at Taverna at the Mar Vista for Greek cuisine. Enjoy an exquisite fine dine experience with entertainment at The Mar Vista restaurant. The design features a rustic wooden interior with a full bar adorned with an extensive wine cellar and wooden bar stools to complement the decor. Taverna offers Greek specialties tapas-style with a casual vibe. Their dishes feature gyros, souvlaki, moussaka among others including vegetarian dishes. Entrees start at $25. Be sure to save room for dessert. This dinner is limited to 12, so sign up soon. The reservation is under Alan’s name. If your plans change, please update your RSVP accordingly. TAVERNA AT THE MAR VISTA: 12249 Venice Blvd, Los Angeles, 310/751-6773. 405 Fwy N, take exit 52 towards Washington Blvd/Venice Blvd. Turn left on Sepulveda Blvd. Turn left on Venice Blvd. Or take 405 Fwy S, take exit 52 towards Venice Blvd. Right turn on Sawtelle Blvd. Turn left on Venice Blvd. Taverna is located on the right side. There are a few parking spots behind the restaurant. There is also street parking on Mountain View and Grand View. Read the signs for any parking restrictions.
