"Fifty Letters" Part 8 (Seneca RG)

The “Seneca Reading Group” meets every FIRST and THIRD Thursday of the month at 7:00-8:00 p.m. PT. The group is currently going through Seneca's Letters on Ethics collected in Graver & Long's Fifty Letters of a Roman Stoic (2025) (https://press.uchicago.edu/ucp/books/book/chicago/S/bo101561446.html).
This meeting will primarily center around Letter 79 (left over from the last meeting) and Letters 91, 97, 104, 108. Please do as much reading as you can in advance of the meeting in order to get the most out of the discussion. Lastly, let Justin know if you need a PDF of the translation that we are using.
