What we’re about
A "sangha" is a community of Buddhist practitioners and followers who support each other on their spiritual path and practice mindfulness together. Mindfulness is the energy of being aware and awake to the present moment. It is the continuous practice of touching life deeply in every moment of daily life. We follow the teachings of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh ("Thay").
We are a new sangha currently with just a few members. Our practice currently consists of reading the five mindfulness trainings, listening to a dharma talk, reading Thay's teachings, dharma sharing, and inviting the bell throughout as we return to the present moment. We meet in a room at the Livingston Public Library.
