Why meditate? On one level, meditation is a tool. It can help combat stress, fosters physical health, helps with chronic pain, can make you sleep better, feel happier, be more peaceful, as well as be more present. On a deeper level, meditation is a doorway into knowing who we really are.  

Jönköping Lotus Meditation Group is a group for people wanting to experience deeper presence, awareness and compassion through meditation approach. If you are interested in learning about meditation techniques or develop your meditation experience, you are most welcome to join the community!

We have group meditation at the campus of Jönköping University about once every other week on Saturdays, each time 1.5 hour. With us, you also have opportunities to meet experienced meditation teachers from Tibet, Nepal and Sweden.  You may find guidance and instruction with us crafted to meet the needs of the individual from first-time meditators to those with many years of practice.
