Dear Meditators! We are pleased to announce that Venerable Pieter (Lakshyong Jyamtso lama) will be back in Jönköping to teach and guide us in meditation again during two days at Folkuniversitetet.

This is the invitation to day 2 (Sunday) PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU CAN ONLY JOIN THIS EVENT IF YOU JOINED DAY 1. This is because the second day will be a continuation and deepening of the teachings and practices of day 1.

We warmly invite you to a special day of spiritual insight and practice with Venerable Pieter, who will guide us in understanding and meditating on bodhicitta — the heart of the path to awakening.

What is Bodhicitta?
Bodhicitta is a Sanskrit term meaning “the awakened mind” or “mind of enlightenment.” It is the deep wish to attain enlightenment not for oneself alone, but for the benefit of all sentient beings. Bodhicitta combines profound compassion with the wisdom that sees the true nature of reality.

Why cultivate bodhicitta?
Practicing bodhicitta transforms our hearts and minds. It helps us:

  • Develop genuine compassion and empathy.
  • Reduce self-centeredness and emotional reactivity.
  • Find deeper meaning and purpose in life.
  • Create the causes for lasting happiness and inner peace.
  • Progress on the path toward enlightenment.

Please read through all the information before signing up.
