Louisiana Cosplayers is an organization focused on discussing cosplay, helping each other, and hosting meetups. Our members actively post in our Facebook Group about a large range of cosplay topics including: progress, help with design concepts, help with construction, convention meetups, locations to buy cosplay and cosplay accessories.

Aquaricon 2026
Audubon Aquarium of the Americas, 1 Canal St, New Orleans, LA, USLet’s have some fun in the sun at our annual summer meetup at the New Orleans Audubon Aquarium on July 25th! Come dressed in your best Summer-casual / Water-themed cosplay to beat the heat. Cosplay is not mandatory, please keep your comfort in mind.
Disclaimer: Though Aquaricon is NOT a convention, this cosplay meetup is the largest of the year. There is NO additional ticketing required to attend our event other than the aquarium.Schedule:
- 10:00AM ~ Meet in the Aquarium Lobby
- 10:05AM ~ Insectarium Tour starts
- 10:30AM ~ Aquarium Tour starts
- 12:00PM ~ Group Photo at the Aquarium Mural
- 12:10PM ~ Parade from the Aquarium through the Riverwalk
- 12:30PM ~ Lunch at the Riverwalk
