This meetup is for anyone interested in chatting about cryptocurrency; how it works, it's implications for the future, and related current events. We don't have much structure beyond that, but we might do some presentations in the future if demand grows.

If you have questions about cryptocurrency you should come. We have a number of experts who can go deep on almost any aspect of it. I can honestly say I've spent about 2 thousand hours researching it in the past 3 years. (Where has the time gone lol) We love meeting new people, learning from them and sharing what we've learned. I'm always surprised by how much others know that I don't.

Cryptocurrency is a fascinating combination of economics, math, politics, and computer science. To help you get started, we'll give $5 worth of bitcoin to anyone who hasn't owned crypto before. That plus a slice of pizza, what else can you ask for? :D
