Louisville Bitcoin Meetup

After reviewing the survey results from our re-launch meetup last month, we've decided to try meeting twice a month--normally on the first Sunday evening and the third Wednesday evening of the month. Apparently several of you normally work on weekends or second/third shift during the week, so we're hoping this schedule at least works for everyone half the time.

We will flesh out the meetup format over time, but it seems most of you prefer a combination of formal and informal. So the idea will be to have a short presentation or demonstration or other similar activity at each meetup, but also allow plenty of time for socializing.

This next meetup will take place at The Park (http://workatthepark.com/), a cool co-working space that's centrally located at 1229 S. Shelby St. A big shout-out to Ben Terry for agreeing to host us!

We're not yet sure about the location for future meetups, but stay tuned. We're reviewing the suggestions, and if anyone has additional ideas, feel free to speak up! In the meantime, we'll at least schedule future meetups here as recurring events so everyone has them on the calendar.

Finally, since I travel quite a bit (as I write this, I'm planning to attend the big Bitcoin Meetup in Paris tomorrow night!), I am adding Jacob Melin and Enrique Rodriquez as co-organizers for this meetup. So between the three of us, we should have future meetups covered. Jacob and Enrique will be putting together some kind of presentation for this meetup.
