Difficult hike to Royal Arch, Boulder 3.2 miles

This hike has a lot of inclines going up and is very rocky. Some trees for further into the hike. Beginning of hike (and end of hike) is no trees.
Please dress appropriately for the weather, you may want to bring water, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen.
This is 2-3 miles of vigorous hiking. Please only attend if you can hike a vigorous difficult hike.
I will tell you I am a rather slow hiker, I enjoy stopping to take photos, listen to birds and examine rocks and plants. And if you prefer to hike faster, I don't mind, but just be aware. I stop to catch my breath.
Big arch at the end. I don't know how long it takes to get there.
Please see the pin drop on the map for the trailhead which is called Chautauqua trailhead and goes up to the Royal Arch trail. Parking
Please be on time. I will wait 5 minutes and I will start.
If it is very muddy, I may cancel. If it is raining, I will cancel. Please check your email the night before and morning of.

Dogs: following dog rules for Boulder leashed or voice and sight control, please clean up after your dog. Please be aware of Boulder laws about dogs on paths. Be aware this is a rigorous hike and evaluate if your dog is capable.
