Hike this easy and beautiful 3 mile loop at Boulder Valley Ranch. Minimum elevation. The grasslands and Cottonwoods should be bursting with color!
Wear good hiking shoes/boots, bring rain gear, and a snack.
Dogs on leash are ok.
Parking is limited so if you want to carpool with me please meet in the SE corner of the Safeway parking lot located at SW corner of Iris and 28th St Boulder.
FYI when you look up "Boulder Valley Ranch" it will give a Longmont address. It is off Highway 36 on Longhorn Rd 3900 Longhorn Rd
One mile north of Boulder on Highway 36, then one mile east of Highway 36 on Longhorn Road (a dirt road). The turn-off from the highway onto Longhorn Road is marked with a sign for Boulder Valley Ranch Open Space. Parking lot on south side of Longhorn Road.
