About us
LOVE at First BITE is back, thanks to the many of you who requested it. Events will be held once a month, in small groups in order to encourage meaningful conversation and connections. I will also say that you will not enjoy this group if you are easily offended. Our dinner conversations are never sensored, and all topics are welcome even if they are a bit spicy or sensitive. I just ask that you treat everyone with kindness and respect regardless of our views.
Along with dining out, I might sneak in other type of events other times. Our dinners will be held all over the DMV area, with most in Alexandria. The requirements to be in this group are simple; legally SINGLE, and over 21.
Our events will be small and intimate so that we can have meaningful conversation. While this group is for singles, it does not mean that it is a dating group. If you do meet someone special, fantastic...but do not make that your primary objective. Making friends with other singles is our main focus.
HOW TO GET REMOVED:
- Showing disrespect to anyone
- 3 No Shows
- Chronic lateness
- Unwanted Personal Messages
- Not paying dues after 60 days.
Due to the crazy high organizer fees, after your free trial, I am requesting annual dues of $15 to offset this cost, and to make a closer, more vested community. I've been a successful Meetup Organizer since 2015, and have found that this makes members much more accountable with very few no-shows.
