Our mantra is to ‘Get out there and sail.’
Love2Sail are sailing enthusiasts who organise regular events for sailors or would be sailors who experience the thrill of sailing.
We own a Dufour 385 Grand Large coded yacht, Muritai, based in the Solent.
There will always be a qualified skipper on board. You will be encouraged, if you wish, to participate in every aspect of sailing the boat – be it crew, helm, sail trimmer, navigator or overall passage planner.
As a ‘not for profit’ organisation, the charges we make present great value for money to anyone who wishes to get out on the water with like-minded people in a fantastic vessel and who, while serious about sailing, want to do it with a smile on their faces.

5 day Easter weekend sail to St Vaast Thursday 2nd - Monday 6th April 26
Haslar Marina, Haslar Road, Gosport, GBThis is always a very popular destination and when you arrive you will understand why!
Join us on board in Haslar marina, Gosport on Thursday evening at 17.00. We will discuss the final passage plan for the weekend over a delicious home cooked evening meal. Weather permitting we plan to sail to St Vaast overnight, arriving by midday Friday .
We will spend the afternoon,evening and Saturday morning in St Vaast, giving you an opportunity to explore the oyster capital of Normandy, visit the market, the famous shop of monsieur Grosselin, the Vauban tower or go across to ile Tatihou.
Saturday late morning we plan to set sail to Cherbourg where we will spend the evening and overnight. Sunday sail back to either Yarmouth or Lymington, returning to Haslar on Monday.
There will be lots of sailing and time to explore ashore - adventure, excitement and escape
The final passage plan will depend on the wind and weather. We can guarantee that we will be able to tailor the trip to the conditions to ensure a quality sailing experience.
This is an ideal mile builder for those requiring sea miles and possibly night hours. There may be an opportunity to skipper a 60 mile passage under supervision. Just call to discuss.
Whether you are a novice or experienced sailor you will love this trip! Take the helm, trim the sails, navigate ….. or just come and relax.
Our yacht is a Dufour 385, MCA coded with full safety equipment. The skipper and first mate are experienced RYA qualified sailors so you do not need any prior sailing experience to join this trip.
The price of £575 for a shared cabin includes:
- One evening meal on board
- breakfasts, lunches, tea, coffee, snacks.
- marina fees, gas and fuel.
