Our mantra is to ‘Get out there and sail.’
Love2Sail are sailing enthusiasts who organise regular events for sailors or would be sailors who experience the thrill of sailing.
We own a Dufour 385 Grand Large coded yacht, Muritai, based in the Solent.
There will always be a qualified skipper on board. You will be encouraged, if you wish, to participate in every aspect of sailing the boat – be it crew, helm, sail trimmer, navigator or overall passage planner.
As a ‘not for profit’ organisation, the charges we make present great value for money to anyone who wishes to get out on the water with like-minded people in a fantastic vessel and who, while serious about sailing, want to do it with a smile on their faces.

Jersey to Haslar, Gosport Saturday 18th July - Wednesday 22nd July 2026
Victoria marina, Victoria square, St Helier, GBJoin us in St Helier, Jersey on Saturday 18th July late afternoon. You will meet the crew and we will discuss the final passage. The probable itinerary is:
Sunday St Peter Port, Guernsey
Monday Alderney
Tuesday across the channel to Yarmouth
Wednesday Haslar, Gosport
There will be lots of sailing and time ashore to explore the fabulous beaches, walks and wonderful scenery. The final itinerary will depend on the wind and weather. We can guarantee that we will tailor the trip to the conditions to ensure a quality sailing experience.Whether you are a beginner or an experienced sailor you are very welcome - we hope you will want to get involved in all aspects of sailing and navigation but if you prefer just to come and relax then that is fine too!
This trip is ideal for anyone looking to skipper a 60 mile RYA qualifying passage under supervision.
· Our price of £499 is great value as it includes:
· all safety equipment, including life jackets
· We provide pillows - just bring a pillowcase, a sleeping bag, warm windproof clothing, non marking footwear and personal toiletries
· RYA qualified skipper and first mate.

- Travel insurance (please ensure you have medical and cancellation cover)
Our yacht Muritai is a very comfortable Dufour Grande Large 385 with heating, a state of the art chart plotter and full safety equipment. She sleeps 8 people but we sail with a maximum of 6 to ensure everyone’s comfort and to give you more opportunity to be involved.
We ask for a deposit of £100 to secure your place and the balance 28 days before the event
