When paying by bank transfer please include the date of the event so we know which tennis session you are booking. (for example - tennis24sep)

After you've paid we will move you to the going list.

We play on different courts but they are all in walking distance from The Library Pot in Richmond and sometimes near St.Margarets train tation.

This tennis session is free. You will get your rsvp money back (minus the booking and meetup fees) when you spend £15 on food and drink during our after tennis social at The Library Pot the £3 tennis booking will be minused from your food and drink bill. Please ask for the tennis discount to be applied when paying your cafe bill.

Japanese Riichi Mahjong is a fun game for 4 people but beware it is very addictive ;-) Beginners are welcome. Our hosts and regulars will be glad to show you the basics to get you started on this fun game.

日本語と将棋勉強会。
This is a self study group based at The Library Pot Games Cafe in Richmond. This group is suitable for anyone who wants to learn Japanese language and or Japanese chess. All levels are welcome from complete beginner to expert.

This event is free but please buy at least one drink during your visit to support the place which is offering us this location to study and also use of their Japanese language and Japanese Chess study materials.

What to bring: at least one notebook. Ideally three - one for Japanese Vocabulary, one for Japanese writing practice, one for Japanese grammar.

⚠️将棋の勉強は必須ではありません。Library Potはたくさんの在英将棋ファンがおり、コミュニティも着々と出来上がっています。今回の定期会は将棋の勉強を日本語でしたい！という方達からの声で立ち上がりました。したがって、将棋を通して日本語能力を身につけたり、日本の文化を学ぶことに非常に熱心な人もたくさん来られる予定です。席が分かれているので、日本語の勉強やその他勉強を静かにしたい方を中心に募集しています。

Not a beginners night.
If you are beginner please RSVP to our Thursday and Sundays mahjong sessions.

Even if you don't know all the yakus and scoring you can join but you should be able to play fast paced hanchans.

We hope to play two fast paced hanchans in 3 hours.

If not enough people show up for a 4 player or sanma table you are welcome to join our board games night which will be running at the same time.
