Live entertainment in Southwest Florida — music, comedy, theatre, trivia, festivals, and anything else where you show up and something actually happens.
There's a ridiculous amount going on between Naples and Punta Gorda and most of it never gets found. Free tribute bands in courtyards. A local soul band in a plaza on a Thursday. Comedy clubs, community theatre, trivia nights, street festivals, and touring acts in rooms that hold two hundred people.
This group exists because going alone gets old, and because "who wants to come to this?" is a better question than scrolling a calendar by yourself.
I am proud to announce that I am back and better than ever! Everyone is welcome to join, and I do mean that. Just be cool.
What to expect: a couple of things a month. Often free, usually within half an hour of Estero. A mix of sit-and-watch and get-involved — a concert one week, a trivia night the next. Casual venues, outdoor plazas, places where you can arrive late, leave early, and still hear the person next to you.
Who it's for: anyone who'd rather be out than home. Come alone, come with someone, come to one and never come again. No commitment, no dues, no cover most of the time.
Suggestions welcome — if you know something good, post it. Half the point is finding what the rest of us missed.
Bring a chair when the listing says to. And perhaps a blanket. And bug spray. You know the drill!
