What we’re about

A group to help you eat low carb in a way that is sustainable and enjoyable, with both local in-person and online events. Wherever you are in the world, you are welcome.

Low Carb No Struggle is about making healthy eating much easier than you might believe.

Instead of committing 100% to extreme changes, it's about experimenting with new foods - and tweaking things so they suit you.

Instead of beating yourself up when you slip up and eat junk food, how about accepting that your resistance to change is completely normal? Next seek out some tried-and-tested ways to dismantle your self sabotage.
Instead of buying into someone else's diet plan, we use a variety of recipes and suggestions to inform our own best practices.

Instead of aiming for perfection, it's about doing our best but being able to be neutral about mistakes and having a plan to get back on track ASAP.

Instead of laser focusing on weight loss at the expense of everything else, we understand that health is the ultimate goal. The great news is that you get the best of both worlds, because weight loss is a natural side effect of better health.

Eating low carb is a very powerful tool for improved health. Many doctors say it is the number one way to reverse type 2 diabetes. And because diabetes is the royal road to major health problems like heart attack, cancer, stroke, Alzheimer's and more, going low carb is just about the best gift any of us can give ourselves.

However, shifting to a low carb lifestyle is not straightforward. It involves some discomfort and inconvenience. If you try and go at it hell for leather like a fad diet, you will overstretch yourself too soon and give up.

The great news is that you can approach low carb in a way that is doable, satisfying, fits your busy life and most importantly, is sustainable.

I am setting this group up because I have found a way to eat low carb that is getting me results but is also very doable and gets easier the more you do it. I want to share what I have found.

This group is for you if you are looking for a non-judmental space where you can make real, lasting changes. A place where you can stop being so harsh with yourself when you fall off the wagon. Somewhere to develop what I call uncomfortability - the ability to tolerate the discomfort of change. To be able to say no to junk food and feel good about yourself…as well as knowing when it's OK to say yes.

Going low carb is too important, too life changing to leave it to your best intentions and someone else's diet plan. The other important things in life - your friends, your hobbies, your work etc - are unique to you. Why should your health be any different?
