SHL Movie Club: Poor Things

Come see Poor Things with your humanist friends! The incredible tale about the fantastical evolution of Bella Baxter, a young woman brought back to life by the brilliant and unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter, Poor Things has been nominated for 11 Oscars, including best picture, best director for Yorgos Lanthimos, and best actress for Emma Stone.

After the movie those who wish will be going to Taste of India, located at 1280 Sam Rittenberg Blvd in West Ashley, for drinks, food and to discuss the film. If you have already seen Poor Things and don't want to attend the showing, feel free to join us to discuss the film afterwards.
