Join us for a play date at Wannamaker County Park. Bring your kids to run, play, and make new friends while parents connect with other secular families. This will be in conjunction with SHL's annual potluck picnic that begins at 11:30 at the Dogwood canopy (the old dog park). This provides a fenced-in area for the kids to play. The playground is a short walk, sprinklers are just beyond that, and there are many paved and unpaved trails.

From SHL's main event: We invite you to bring food and drinks to share, but we always have more than plenty so it is totally fine to come empty handed. Your company is enough!
The RSVP will give you a chance to report what you plan to bring (if anything).
We have reserved the Dogwood Canopy which is a private, fenced-in wooded area with picnic tables, grills and a canopy in case of rain. Feel free to bring your frisbee, bocce ball, croquet or volleyball etc.

We will also be holding annual elections for the SHL Board of Directors. Everyone is welcome at the picnic, but only dues-paying members are eligible to vote. If you are not currently a dues-paying member, you can join or renew your membership: https://www.joinit.org/o/shl
We promise to keep business short and sweet. Our focus for the day is revelry!

Admission to Wannamaker County Park is $2/person, or free for annual pass holders. We have the private Dogwood Canopy space reserved from 9 am to 5 pm. The park is open from 8 am to 8 pm, so if the weather is nice, we invite members and friends of SHL to spend as much of the day enjoying all the park has to offer as you wish.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors, SHL has funds available to ensure everyone feels welcome and able to participate. If the cost of participation presents a challenge, please email us at shl@lowcountryhumanists.org, and we can discreetly arrange to cover your costs.
