COA’s description
Our Full Moon Kayak Tour is the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. Enjoy exploring the marsh as the brilliant sunset fades to dark, moonlit skies. This easy moving trip will take you through the saltwater estuary behind Folly Beach giving you the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife such as dolphins, wading birds, pelicans and crabs. While it is still light out, your naturalist guide will lead you through beautiful coastal waterways, taking time to talk about and point out the local ecosystems, indigenous species, fauna and flora. This tour is a perfect and unique way to unwind and relax, bringing family and friends together to experience the wild side of Charleston.
Be sure to read COA’s recommendations on what to bring and wear.
Thanks to the generosity of our donors, SHL has funds available to ensure everyone feels welcome and able to participate. If the cost of participation presents a challenge, please email us at shl@lowcountryhumanists.org, and we can discreetly arrange to cover your costs.
