### **Hi Sydneysiders! DO you have your favorite character or idol? ✨💖** Join us for a very special collaboration event: **Sakkie x Parfait: Oshikatsu Workshop!** 🎀 Have you heard of **"Oshikatsu"**? It is the Japanese culture of passionately supporting your "Oshi" (the person or character you love most). One of the best ways to show this love is by making a beautiful, custom **Rosette** to decorate your favorite can badge! We are teaming up with the lovely team from **Parfait Parlour** to bring this creative fan culture to our terrace in Surry Hills. If you have your favorite character can, this workshop is for you! **What we’ll do:** We will spend the afternoon creating rosettes together. We will provide colorful ribbons and decorations so you can match the colors of your "Oshi." Don’t worry if you aren't "crafty"—we will guide you through every step in a relaxed, no-pressure environment. It’s the perfect way to meet new people who share your passions! ### **⚠️ Super Important: What to Bring! ⚠️** To make sure you leave with a perfect masterpiece, please bring the following items with you: * **MUST!! Can Badge of Your Oshi:** This is the most important part! A **54mm - 58mm** badge works best for the rosette size we are making. * **Scissors:** Please bring **two pairs** if possible—one for fabric and one for tape/paper. * **Glue Gun + Extra Glue:** High-temperature glue guns are preferable as they are more durable! * **Ruler:** A small one is fine, but a **30cm ruler** would be best. *Note: we will have a few extra tools to share if you forget, but bringing your own will ensure you can work at your own pace!* ### **【Event Details】** 🎀 **What:** Oshikatsu Workshop: How to Make a Rosette ⏰ **When:** 2nd May (Saturday), 2:30 PM - 5:00 PM 📍 **Location:** Rush Espresso Bar (Terrace Area), Surry Hills 💸 **Price:** **$30** *Pay at the door! (Cash or PayID)* ✅ **Includes:** All materials + some snacks + self-serve drink station + a wholesome space to meet new friends. 🎶 **Vibe:** Creative, fan-focused, and friendly. Come solo to find your fellow fans, or bring your friends for a unique afternoon! 🫶🏻 ### **⚠️ Limited spots available** Please cancel if you can’t make it so someone else can join our crafting circle :) ### **A Safe Space for Women 🤝** Sakkie is a safe, welcoming space created by a Japanese woman for everyone to enjoy. We ensure every guest feels comfortable, especially those joining solo. You’re never alone in the Sakkie fam! ✨ ### **Photos & Videos 📷** We’ll be capturing the "aesthetic" crafting moments to share on our social media. If you’d prefer not to be on camera, just let us know when you arrive! ### **Building "Sakkie" Together 🌸** Since we're a new community, everyone who joins now is a **"founding member"** of the Sakkie fam! We’d love for you to be part of our journey from the start. Let’s create something beautiful and build this community hub together!

### **Hi Sydneysiders! ✨ Ready to create origami? 🕊️🌿** Join us for **Sakkie’s Origami Crafting & Social** on ANZAC day. As ANZAC Day approaches, we reflect on the **spirit of peace** and the **strong friendship that Australia and Japan** share today. In Japan, the origami crane is a symbol of healing and a universal **wish for peace.** On the Saturday, as we gather on our terrace, we want to fold cranes and some other honouring the past while celebrating the peaceful connections we’re building together in Sydney. ✨🕊️ We’re bringing the meditative art of Japanese paper folding to our terrace. Whether you haven't touched origami since childhood or you're a total beginner, this event is all about **unplugging from the digital world** and creating something beautiful with your own two hands. From iconic paper cranes to modern geometric designs, we’ll guide you through the folds in a chill, no-pressure environment. ### **What we’ll do:** We’ll spend the afternoon folding together. There’s something magically relaxing about focusing on your fingertips it’s the ultimate ice-breaker! You’ll share laughs over tricky folds, help each other out, and leave with your own handmade paper masterpieces. 🎨📐 ### **✨ No more "one drink" limit! 🥤** I’ve noticed that our community loves to chat, and crafting can be thirsty work! We’ve set up our **Self-Serve Soft drink Station** where you can help yourself to drinks throughout the event. Just write your name on your paper cup and stay hydrated while you create! 🌸 Keep the conversation flowing as easily as the paper folds! ### **【Event Details】** * 🕊️ **What:** Sakkie Origami Crafting & Social * ⏰ **When:** 25th April , 2:30 PM - 4:45 PM * 📍 **Location:** Rush Espresso Bar (Terrace Area), Surry Hills * 💸 **Price:** **$ 17 Regular Price** (Follow our Instagram **[@sakkie_sydney](https://www.instagram.com/sakkie_sydney/)** **-$1**, and RSVP **-$1 **) /**$15 Discounted Price** - **Pay at the door!** (Cash or PayID preferred) * ✅ **Includes:** origami paper + Japanese snacks + self-serve drink station + a wholesome space to meet new friends. * 🎶 **Vibe:** Cozy, mindful, and creative.
