Creative Coffee & Mingle ☕️ | Help Shape Our New Look

With our Korean and Japanese culture groups now paired, we need your help with something important - our new look! Come along for an afternoon of coffee, creativity and conversation as we brainstorm ideas for our Korean and Japanese groups’ new logos. We’re creating new logos for both groups, and rather than designing them behind the scenes, we’d love our members to have a say in what they look like. Join us for a relaxed **creative brainstorming session and coffee mingle**, where we’ll explore ideas for the new logos for both groups. Over coffee and light refreshments, we’ll look at colours, styles, symbols and different design directions, and chat about what we think best represents each community. **You don’t need any design experience at all.** The session will be facilitated so you will be guided through sharing your ideas, opinions and creativity. Whether you have a very clear vision or simply know what you like when you see it, we’d love your input. By the end of the session, we hope to have a clearer creative direction that we can use to develop our new logos. **Location** The event will take place in **Canada Water, SE16**. *The full address will be shared with confirmed attendees a few days before the event.* As this is a smaller, hosted session, **places will be limited**, so please only RSVP if you’re planning to attend. **Seating** Please note that this is a small, informal gathering and seating will be a mixture of chairs and floor seating with cushions. If you need a chair for accessibility or comfort reasons, just let us know when you RSVP and we’ll make sure one is available for you. Come along, have a drink and a snack, meet other members, and help shape the next chapter of our Korean and Japanese communities. 🇰🇷🇯🇵✨

Play Werewolf - Southwark

Hello! Come and join us at our weekly Wherewolf event. We play multiple games across the evening, so you'll get more than one opportunity to play. Wherewolf is a game of secret roles, with most playing for the Village or the Wolves. Both teams are trying to eliminate the other, figuring out information about other players to guide themselves to victory. And with sneaky extra characters with their own individual goals thrown into the mix too, games often lead to exciting and dramatic endings. If this is your first time playing, you are absolutely welcome! Whether you've played similar games before, or you're totally brand new to social deduction games, we'd love to have you. Come along, we'll happily guide you through the rules of the game, it's easy to pick up. Everybody comes to have fun, so people will help you out. We look forward to seeing you!

👁️🎬 CLAYFACE (A DC HORROR EXPERIENCE)

🗿 ***In the search for perfection, some monsters are made, not born. And when the face in the mirror is no longer your own, the nightmare has only just begun…*** 👋 **Hey guys!** It looks like DC is taking a seriously dark turn. The buzz around **Clayface** is that this is *not* your typical superhero flick. Instead, it leans heavily into transformation, identity, and pure psychological unease — pushing the boundaries of the DC world in a much darker direction. **Clayface** is a body horror film based on the eponymous **DC Comics** character, directed by **James Watkins**, with a screenplay by **Mike Flanagan** — who’s fast becoming one of my favourite voices in the genre. The story follows an up-and-coming actor whose face is disfigured by a gangster. As a last resort, he turns to a scientist who transforms his body into clay, with horrifying consequences. While Clayface exists within the **DC Universe**, this film appears to stand firmly on its own as a genre piece — blending horror and tragedy rather than superhero spectacle. The plan is to **meet beforehand for drinks** and a chat about the DC Universe and how horror is carving out its own space within it. Then we’ll head into the screening together, followed by a relaxed post-movie discussion and our Letterboxd scores. No pressure — just good company and a film that’s bound to spark conversation. **If you’re a fan of the eerie and the unexpected, this could be a very fun (and unsettling) night out.** **See you guys there,** **Jonny** \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- 👉 **HEADS UP** * If you **sign up** and later can’t make it, please 🙏 drop us a message (**or change your RSVP**) — You can also follow me **[@jonnyhideout](https://www.instagram.com/jonnyhideout/)** or our club **[@thehideoutmax](https://www.instagram.com/thehideoutmax/)** on instagram for fun updates. 🗓 **SCHEDULE BREAKDOWN** * Details will be updated closer to the date. 📱**STAY CONNECTED** * Join our WhatsApp or Telegram groups (available by request), or hop onto our **[WhatsApp Channel](https://whatsapp.com/channel/0029VaDvGuK0AgW8KPxOnG2V)** or **[Telegram Channel](https://t.me/thehideoutuk)** for quiet updates without the chat.
