We'll have lots of leather armour, weapons, and shields with our fighter model, featuring lots of dynamic and action poses. Guided by an illustrator with over 15 years of experience, you'll explore the fundamentals of figure drawing in our enchanted Sydney studio, featuring costumes, props, and professional lighting. All skill levels welcome, whether you're an artisan looking to expand your horizons or an apprentice who's never wielded a pen. **In this class, you will:** * Sketch from a live, fantasy-costumed model through a series of dynamic, themed poses * Learn the fundamentals of figure drawing, anatomy, and visual storytelling in a relaxed environment * Learn how to effectively pose characters to convey meaning and story **What to bring:** * Your preferred paper and drawing materials, but basic materials are available if needed. * Your awesome self. Come along to our **September meetup for the Sydney Nature Journal Club**. This is a chance to connect, spend some time in nature and journal together. I will offer some guidance to start. After we can share journal pages and ideas. **What to bring:** Bring along sketchbooks/paper and your favourite drawing materials (pens, pencils, watercolour, acrylic, anything you have). I will have extra materials on the day if you want to explore other mediums. \*\*Where:\*\* TBC. **Cost:** Suggested donation is $10 annual fee, $5 casual fee. (This helps cover Meetup fees).
