Join founders, investors and tech talent at this curated **startup networking event in San Francisco.** Meet ambitious builders, exchange ideas and discover new opportunities in a dynamic community environment. **RSVP: [Use this link](https://www.eventbrite.com/e/ai-tech-networking-event-in-san-francisco-by-ascent-valley-tickets-1999536056170?aff=oddtdtcreator)** **Please note that RSVP is managed via Eventbrite to control attendee lists — don’t ignore it to avoid issues with on-site payment.** **Bring your next product question to the table** Meet engineers, AI builders, founders and operators at Ascent Valley’s AI & Tech evening in San Francisco. Talk about what you’re building and meet people you could work with. Locals and visitors are equally welcome. Bring a product idea or a challenge from your work: choosing the right tools, improving an AI feature or finding a useful way to automate a process. Compare approaches with other guests and share what you’ve tried. Join small-group discussions before the company pitches. During open networking, get to know the people whose work interests you and explore where you could help each other. **Who you’ll meet** * AI and tech founders & entrepreneurs building products or bringing AI into an existing business. * Engineers & builders including developers, ML and data specialists, and designers turning ideas into working products. * Product & business operators working on customer needs, growth and the practical use of technology in a business. * Investors interested in technology businesses and the people building them. **Why This Event Is Different** Compare how people approach both the technology and the business behind a product. Ask why someone chose a tool, how they test it and what users actually need. These conversations help you understand how others work and whether there’s a reason to collaborate. Keep in touch through Ascent Valley after the evening. **Want to Pitch?** Present your company, walk guests through your pitch deck and take questions from the room. Company representatives can apply through our website; our team reviews applications and confirms speaking slots in advance. Your application creates a public company profile in our [Startup Directory](https://ascentvalley.com/startups)[.](https://ascentvalley.com/startups "https://ascentvalley.com/startups") After the event, your company’s details enter our private company database for investor matching. With your consent, your company can also be featured in our Weekly Founder Digest. Our team arranges introductions when both sides want to connect. [Apply to pitch](https://ascentvalley.com/pitch) **For Investors** Meet company representatives and discuss the product, its users and the team behind it. Verified investors can receive our Weekly Founder Digest, matched to their investment focus, and request introductions through our team when both sides want to connect. Investor Pass is a paid ticket reserved for active investors and representatives of investment firms. Our team reviews investor eligibility. If you are attending in another role, please choose a general admission ticket. RSVP for Best of the Bay Business Referral Exchange!

RSVP for Best of the Bay Business Referral Exchange!

Wed, Nov 11, 3:45 PM
From Best of the Bay Business Referral Exchange
5.0

We meet almost every Wednesday of the year; if we are "dark" for any reason (usually limited to Christmas and New Year's Day weeks, the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and sometimes the 4th of July week), you will be told as a response to your RSVP. We recently started meeting in person the 1st Wednesday of each month in downtown Oakland at an "Oakstop" location at 1721 Broadway #201 (street level; doors face sidewalk on Broadway). Metered on street parking (you can pre-pay before 8am, which is when charging for time actually begins; most close-by metered spaces are limited to 60 minutes though it might be possible to extend time via a parking app). There are also parking lots in the area. On all other Wednesdays each month we meet online via Zoom. When you RSVP for a meeting after your request to meet with us has been approved, or at the time of your initial request, please include a short description of your business and also include your contact information in case we need to reach you before the meeting. You can attend our chapter twice as a visitor (this Meetup group seeks to find visitors to our group as a first step toward formally joining Best of the Bay) before submitting a formal application to join. Please also let us know how many guests you want to bring and tell us something about what is/are their professions.
