Come and play what is simply and by far, the best board game in the world. Whether an experienced regular player, an occasional player, someone who has not played for a long time or a beginner you will be welcome. We meet on the first Wednesday of the month (6pm to 11pm) at the Richard 1st pub. at 52/54 Royal Hill, Greenwich SE10 8RT. As ever beginners wanting to learn how to play are welcome and will be given lessons. For experienced players we have a team (The Greenwich Meantimers) that plays at other clubs and in tournaments. We operate our own club ladder on which results are recorded with all results also being added to the national ladder of the UK Backgammon Federation with whom we are affiliated.

Pokemon TCG - Monday Tournament

**Address: 210-212 Southwark Park Road, London SE16 3RX** **Doors Open 1pm Event starts 6:30pm-10pm** **Player Capacity: 32 players** Are you a seasoned Pokemon player? Or maybe just starting out? Come and join our **Pokemon TCG** Constructed Tournaments at the Brotherhood Games. The evening consists of 3 rounds of Swiss, with prizing distributed to players with a positive record. To participate in the event, alongside your ticket purchase [here](https://www.thebrotherhoodgames.co.uk/pokemon-events), you will be asked to register when you come into the shop and we will put on our system. We will hand out a booster pack for entry to the tournament. If you are unfamiliar, please ask our member of staff upon arrival to the store where a member of staff will be happy to assist. As an added bonus, you will be automatically entered in our Brotherhood League system which runs quarterly. Players will have an opportunity to gain points for attendance and winning games with prizes awarded to the top 16 players on the leaderboard, a special tournament will be held at the end of the league season. If you would like to come earlier you can communicate with our community from our Discord to play some early games. This evening is for practicing and playing casually or simply enjoying the game of Digimon. You get a promo pack for the evening and if that is what everybody wants, we can run a constructed tournament! For the tournament you get a promo pack and a booster pack for an additional £7. Monday Mafia Game & Social – Beginner – The Hydrant (Monument)

**Welcome to UK Mafia!**📍We meet at **The Hydrant** @ Monument on the Second Floor (see photo above). **Do I need to know anything beforehand?** This is a **beginner** event, and many will be playing with us for the first time. If you are a beginner, **please arrive early if you can** to hear explanations of the rules, and so you get to play many games. We will also explain strategies. Most importantly, this is a social activity, so feel free to talk to anyone between the games and have fun! \* *If you are an intermediate player, there is also a separate intermediate table on the other side of the floor \** **🕵️‍♂️ What is Mafia?** Have you seen 'The Traitors'? Play the game that 'Traitors' is based upon! Mafia is a 10-player social game; it can get competitive, but it's easy to learn. We play at multiple tables. You get a secret role and work with your team to win. A game lasts about 45 minutes, so we play many during the day. The **Mafia team** tries to hide and eliminate the **Citizens**, while the **Citizens** try to find the Mafia through deduction and logic. While this is a beginner-friendly event, we also host tournaments and online events with players from around the world. You will quickly see that the game has two phases: 🌙 **Night:** * The Mafia secretly targets a Citizen * The *Don* (Mafia) learns if a player is the *Sheriff* * The *Sheriff* (Citizen) learns if someone is Mafia ☀️ **Day:** * Each player says in their turn who they think the Mafia are * Then, everyone votes publicly to eliminate one player The game continues until the Mafia are eliminated or they outnumber (or equal) the Citizens.
