Mafia Game & Social – Beginner Friendly – Hydrant (Monument)

**Welcome to UK Mafia!** We meet regularly at **The Hydrant (Monument)** on the **Second Floor** (see large function room). It is near **London Bridge**. 1 Monument St, London EC3R 8BG **Do I need to know anything beforehand?** This is a **beginner-friendly** event, and most of you will be playing with us for the first time. You will get to play many games. Most importantly, this is a social activity, so feel free to talk to anyone between the games and have fun! **♂️ What is Mafia?** Have you seen 'The Traitors'? Play the game that 'Traitors' is based upon! Mafia is a 10-player social game; it can get competitive, but it's easy to learn. We play at multiple tables. You get a secret role and work with your team to win. A game lasts about 45 minutes, so we play many during the day. The **Mafia team** tries to hide and eliminate the **Citizens**, while the **Citizens** try to find the Mafia through deduction and logic. While this is a **beginner-only** event, we also host tournaments and online events with more experienced players from around the world. Pokemon TCG - Monday Tournament

**Address: 210-212 Southwark Park Road, London SE16 3RX** **Doors Open 1pm Event starts 6:30pm-10pm** **Player Capacity: 32 players** Are you a seasoned Pokemon player? Or maybe just starting out? Come and join our **Pokemon TCG** Constructed Tournaments at the Brotherhood Games. The evening consists of 3 rounds of Swiss, with prizing distributed to players with a positive record. To participate in the event, alongside your ticket purchase [here](https://www.thebrotherhoodgames.co.uk/pokemon-events), you will be asked to register when you come into the shop and we will put on our system. We will hand out a booster pack for entry to the tournament. If you are unfamiliar, please ask our member of staff upon arrival to the store where a member of staff will be happy to assist. As an added bonus, you will be automatically entered in our Brotherhood League system which runs quarterly. Players will have an opportunity to gain points for attendance and winning games with prizes awarded to the top 16 players on the leaderboard, a special tournament will be held at the end of the league season. Welcome to the world of board gaming, if you’ve been before you know the score! If it’s your first time, please remember to read the description and rules, we don’t have many but there are some. We are a group of people who like to play (or learn) modern board games. From the highly technical to the simplest of games, from the seasoned gamer to the first timer, all are welcome. We cater for nearly all modern games as per our rules. We would be delighted if you wanted to join us, please don't fret if there is a long waitlist, this tends to disappear a day or two before the event, sometimes even on the day, so keep an eye out. Come have a drink, meet like minded friendly people and let the battles commence. If you have a game you would like to play, please mention it in the comments and see if others would like to join you. You can join one of the other games mentioned there already or even request that someone brings a game that you would really like to play. If you do bring a game, it would be great if you could teach it, but someone else might know it. If you don’t know the rules to any of the games being played, don’t worry too much, there are some great teachers here and they’ll let you know the rules to any game they’re playing. It would be best if you could be here by the start time, but if you can’t you could always let people know and they might wait for you to arrive before playing. Otherwise, you might have to wait for people to finish playing before you can join in another game. If you are new, please look for the person in the hi-vis jacket, or ask for one of the hosts, Rocky, Dori, Michele, Rafa or Rakshita and we will make sure you get into a game that suits you and your gaming level. Please abide by the rules and mostly, have fun!
