Paddle with Summon The Dragon
Sat, May 30, 4:30 PMDon’t be put off by the limited signups shown here, we always have PLENTY of paddlers 😊 We are a Dragon boat racing team. Our aim is to have fun stay fit and win medals. We compete at local national and international races, and we hold weekly practices that are open to all. You don't need to become a member to come and try paddling with us! We welcome all new paddlers, so whether you are a total beginner or a seasoned Dragon boat team member, then come along and join us for any of our training sessions at the Grand Street boat ramp in Alameda every Saturday at 9:30 am. Or Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00pm. We provide the boat, paddles, Personal Floatation Devices (PFD's), Safety and training (all free of charge!)...and of course, the camaraderie that comes with being part of a 20 person team. Contact Mark Gerhard (markgerhard624@gmail.com - 415 244 7526) to confirm your spot on the boat.

Play Go and Socialize
Sun, May 24, 9:00 PMThe SF Go Club is the best place to play Go in the SF Bay Area and the oldest Go club in North America. Started in the 1880s by Japanese sailors looking to play Go, it established itself as an official club in 1935 and incorporated as a non-profit in 1984. The club has a rich community of members and a wonderful club-room filled with equipment, both for playing and teaching. It’s a great place to meet interesting people and share this exciting game with them in person. We are a non-profit social club for teaching and playing the game of Go together. Never played before? We are happy to show you! https://sfgoclub.com
