What we’re about
Founded in June 2002, The San Francisco-Oakland Euchre Club is one of the oldest & largest of its kind on the West Coast. Brought together by our love of Euchre, most of us are transplants - mainly from the Great Lakes, Midwest & Canada - with a growing contingent of locals, too!
We play 3x a month and have an easy to remember schedule:
- 1st & 3rd Tuesday of the month in San Francisco at Rudi's Sports Bar in The Mission.
- 2nd Thursday of the month in Oakland at Mad Oak Bar near Lake Merritt.
Both venues are very near BART stations and have food available.
If you're new to Euchre, you'll need to know how to play before coming to an event. That being said, it's very easy for you to learn beforehand!

Every so often, 1st Tuesdays SF and 2nd Thursdays Oakland happen to fall during the same week; October 2025 is one of those months. SO we move Oakland Euchre back one week to prevent two events in the same week. That means THIS month Oakland Euchre will be on THU OCT 16TH!

Located just a 10 minute walk from either the Lake Merritt or 12th Street/Oakland City Center BART stations.
