About us
Join us to play Werewolf, the most addictive social deduction game out there! New people always welcome; we are a friendly group and we'll teach you how to play. RSVP for the next meetup and we'll see you then!
Also, we highly recommend you join us on Facebook where you can find (or post) invites to unofficial events hosted by our members throughout the Bay Area, or just to be part of the Werewolf community ;)

Never Played Before?
Werewolves is a game where you have two teams: Villagers and Werewolves. Wolves are few in number, but know who’s on their team. Most players are villagers, trying to find and kill all the werewolves. Every round, all players discuss and vote on one player to kill. And at the end of the round wolves secretly kill a villager. But if enough villagers die and the wolves can’t be out voted they win.
How do you find the wolves?
- you can watch how people act and try to “read” them as innocent or guilty
- you can make inferences from who the werewolves kill, and from who people suspect or protect and how they vote, especially looking back after they died
- and some players will have special abilities that can be used to narrow down the pool of suspects
A moderator randomly assigns players a card with their secret role, and then facilitates the game. Each round has a day phase for group discussion and voting, and a night phase when everyone closes their eyes so the werewolves can “wake up” and point to their kill. Be careful, if you make any sounds during this phase the mob may use it as evidence against you the next day. Any special roles will wake up separately to use their ability. Then the moderator announces who was eliminated in the night and the next day begins.
Eliminated players win if their team wins, and they can stay to watch the game. The dead can quietly interact with each other outside the circle, but not with the remaining living players.
