Puzzled Pint is a FREE event for puzzle lovers occurring in pubs throughout the globe on the second Tuesday of each month, if you like escape rooms, crosswords, or sudoku, you'll love Puzzled Pint! Letter Writing & Tea @ Teance Fine Teas - Sunday April 26th

Slow down and handwrite a letter, work on journaling, or just hang out with us over a cozy pot of tea! Free stationery, stamps, stickers, and envelopes will be provided, just show up and say hi! Feel free to bring your own supplies to share/destash as well. We meet on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month from 3-5PM at [Teance Fine Teas](https://www.teance.com/letter-writing-club-tea.html), a wonderful tea shop with a wide handcrafted selection of high quality teas. We heard stories that were funny, poignant, and top-notch, so here's another Moth event. This time, the topic is Narrow Escapes. Expect an evening of captivating tales. 🔆 **NARROW ESCAPES**: Sit back and enjoy a storytelling competition of true, personal, five-minute stories about cheating fate -- just barely. Dodging disaster by inches, slipping through a closing door, or talking one's way out of a sticky situation. Heart racing, palms sweating, a big sigh of relief. Laser Cutter Safety Training

Learn how to be safe while using the laser cutter! We have a 150W, CO2 laser cutter with a 3 x 4 ft bed. This training is required to use the laser cutter because we don't want people setting our most expensive equipment donation on fire. You have to do this training even if you were trained at the old space, as we have different safety features now. Training covers * Dangers of the laser cutter * How to be safe * How to put out a fire Each participant will cut a piece of cardboard on the laser cutter while following all the safety steps. This is also a good place to ask questions about specific materials or projects. There is a 5$ fee to register, and we suggest a 20-30$ donation for this class: https://donate.noisebridge.net. Whether you’re starting out or looking for a place to play, you’ve landed in the right place.
You’re going to meet people who are going to help you get better as well as those who will become long time playing buddies. 
You’ll have an opportunity to learn how to get better the fastest way possible - ask me how!😊
Join us whether it’s for training, tournaments, or open play! 
You may come regularly or every now and then. Play for hours or a short while. You will find volleyball joy that will brighten your weekend or even change your life! 
There is no need to RSVP. There will be 20-30+ players. Training starts at 9:00 with open play around 10:00. Improve in one or all of these areas - physical, technical, or mental. Bring what you would normally bring to the beach for a four hour stay. There is a bathroom across the street at the Beach Chalet which opens at 10:00. There are also bathrooms at the Beach Chalet sports field which is a six minute walk or at Safeway which is a five minute walk. The city usually parks a portable two-toilet accommodation in the parking lot. 
The equipment and all fees associated with putting on this event including creating this MeetUp group are funded by me. My intent is to make this event readily available and affordable.
