Join us for the Women Photographers Exhibition held at the National Gallery Victoria, St Kilda Road.This ticketed exhibition is $25 adult entry. We will meet up for lunch at Queen Vic Market and then explore the market for street photography! If you don't want to see the ticketed exhibition, there are free exhibitions on all the levels of the gallery. This will give us the opportunity to try out some street photography in exhibition spaces today, as public accessible spaces such as galleries and museums come under the street photography umbrella. We will also make use of street photography opportunities on the way to and in the market. Schedule 9.45 am. Meeting Point 1: National Gallery of Victoria, 80 St Kilda Road. 10am - 12 noon Exhibition, NGV. 12-1pm Make your way to Queen Vic Market independently .You can take train from Flinders Street station to Melbourne Central Station. or catch trams 19, 57, 58 or 59 up Elizabeth Street direct to Market. 1pm Meeting Point 2 : Entrance to Meat Market on Elizabeth Street. Plz get your lunch and meet back at the Queen's Food Hall ( Queen Street)to eat lunch together. 2pm Meeting Point 3 : Entrance to Queen's Food Hall, Queen Street. 2pm-3.30 pm Explore the Deli Section, the fresh fruit section and then the streets around market .

**[[WHAT]]** This session is for social volleyball games where there will be 3 teams of 6 per court across 3 courts. Please arrive on time as there will warm-up time provided for 20-25 minutes at 1 PM while the hosts set up the nets. Games will be played to 15 points, teams will queue in and fill into the next game where possible after playing 2 games in a row. **[[WHO]]** The session is intended for social volleyball players at the intermediate level. Players should: * Understand basic volleyball rules (3 touches, foot faults, etc.) * Call for the ball when playing and communicate well * Ready to learn (or already know) 5-1 system * Efficient in passing/hitting/setting/serving * Have minimal unforced errors (missed serves, etc..) * Have control over their play around the net and centre line If you are uncomfortable with the base fundamentals, we recommend coming to our beginner training sessions on Friday 6-9PM or Saturday 2-5PM. **[[HOW MUCH]]** $21 card payment will be collected on the day via square (EFTPOS) payment. Payments will be collected prior to game play during warm up. **[[WHEN]]** Sunday afternoon from 1 PM- 4 PM. However, feel free to come early and stretch as Unimelb Sport is open earlier. **Last minute dropouts and no-shows will have a zero-tolerance policy going forward.** All players are expected to update their RSVP at least 24 hours in advance if they are unable to attend. This applies to players on the going list and the waitlist. **[[THINGS TO BRING]]** We ask that you bring * Water bottle * Appropriate footwear for indoor court shoes - netball shoes, volleyball shoes, or basketball shoes would be suitable. * Wear contacts or sports glasses **[[OTHER DETAILS]]** Only those on the “going” list are permitted to play. If you are on the waitlist, or not registered at all, you will not be permitted to play.

Welcome to Melbourne Volleyball Academy! 🤗 **[[WHAT]]** This session will be broken into 2 halves, 1st half is training and the 2nd half is games. Please arrive on time as we start exactly at 2 PM. **[[WHO]]** The training is intended for social volleyball players who are beginners or have no experience playing. If you are an 'advanced' player and would like to work on fundamentals, you are more than welcome to join. We also have training and game sessions at our Pascoe Vale location on Friday evenings. **[[HOW MUCH]]** $21 payment will be collected via square reader on the day of the session. **[[WHEN]]** The stadium is booked for 2 PM- 5 PM. However, feel free to come early and stretch as the Community Centre is open earlier. All players are expected to update their RSVP at least 24 hours in advance if they are unable to attend.
