The Board Games event is a fun, sociable and charitable event We are a fun, friendly and kind group of people mostly in our 20s, 30s and 40s. Beginners are welcome! We are a very inclusive and social group and we teach people how to play games they have not played before :) We provide a variety of 40+ board games. The games usually take 5 or 10 minutes to learn and 30 to 60 minutes to play. Play in French: On the last Friday of the month, we're offering a table where the games are played in French. Anyone with an intermediate level of French who wants to practice while playing is welcome to join. Just ask for Philippe when you arrive. **Time** *Board Games Start time: 630pm - Board Games end time: 10pm *Eat / Drink/ Socialise at a nearby pub afterwards **Location** 30 Leeds St, Toronto, ON M6G 3R8 (Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Holy Protection) The entrance to the board game room is at the back of the Church. There is a sign on the door that says BOARD GAMES GROUP. Please use the map provided on the event page also. Payment **There are two ways to pay** **10 by Cash - coins are not accepted. Only bills.**** **11.55 by Debit/Credit card **Charity Donations** - This is a not-for-profit initiative. Revenue go towards covering costs of the event including venue, insurance marketing, refreshments and board games. Any surplus revenue is donated to charity **Food and drink** *Everyone will get cookies/candy for free - Cups will be provided for tap water *Bring your own food and drink. - Please do not bring CHIPS AND CRACKERS as they make a mess and are greasy ***ALCOHOL IS PROHIBITED AND WE HAVE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY ON THIS - there are no second chances** Photos will be taken at the event and posted publicly for marketing purposes. **Looking to meet new people in Midtown Toronto?** Join us for a relaxed evening of board games and great conversations. Whether you come alone or with friends, everyone is welcome. No experience with board games is needed—we'll choose easy and fun games that anyone can enjoy. **Feel free to bring your favorite board game, card game, or party game and introduce it to the group, or simply come and join the fun!** Our goal is to build a friendly local community where people can connect, make new friends, and enjoy a great evening together. Meet us inside **Yonge Burger St. Clair**. Check in with our staff when you arrive, and we'll direct you to the Board Game Meetup area. Mid/High Int 4's

You can sign if you are at any level intermediate + and above. You must be able to play strong 3 hit volleyball and have good ball control. The event is $5 cash payment only. You will be partnered with others of the same skill level. Please note that you must know FULL beach rules. You MUST answer the RSVP question to play this event. If your answer is wrong or you do not answer then you will be removed from the event. The question or your response may not show up when using some apps so please RSVP from a computer. Beach Rules - https://www.meetup.com/beach-vball/discussions/?eventOrigin=notifications Requests to play together must be submitted in your RSVP answers when you sign up and must be requested by each player so must be mutual requests. You can request to play with 1 other player. Beyond one player is not guaranteed Since sign ups will be limited it is very important that you show up if you sign up. You MUST provide an email address to sign up for the event in the rsvp question every time you sign up to confirm your sign up. RSVPs will be removed for if email is not included in RSVP King of the court Ladder format will be used Please only join the waiting list if you intend to play if added from the wait list. If your plans change please remove yourself from the wait list. You MUST answer the RSVP question and provide your first name and email address. If you do not answer the question and provide this your RSVP will be removed Since this is a team sport event, the proper number of players is very important. RSVP changes less than 72 hrs before any event that is full/has waitlist or 48 hrs before any events not full will to be considered a late bail-out. Late bail outs or no shows will be assessed a "strike" 2 strikes and you will be suspended from participating in group events. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS LEVEL IF YOU ARE A RECREATIONAL PLAYER AND ARE NOT CAPABLE OF CONTROLLING THE BALL TO PASS, SET AND SPIKE. If the event is full, put yourself on the waiting list. Low Int 5s and Recreational 6s

Need at least 12 players signed up for this event to be played. This will be a 5 vs 5 format. The event has no set end time and will usually go beyond the posted times. You are expected to stay for at least the posted event time. $6 Payment by cash only Low Intermediate level is for players looking to continue to improve their game and play a more structured game. You have experience playing volleyball recently and have some ball control and want to and can play 3 hit volleyball. Intermediate does NOT play beach rules volleyball. PUB CHESS LIBERTY | TUESDAY TOURNAMENT & CASUAL CHESS

Join us Tuesday at Left Field Brewery for five rounds of quick chess, followed by casual games. New players are welcome, and experienced tournament players will find plenty of competition.
