Trainer: Thomas Fischer is a Berlin-based IT consultant with 15+ years in the game. While studying Security & Safety Engineering, he started building an Arduino-based monitoring system for a nuclear reactor. As a consultant, he made his mark building the test infrastructure for the VPN-Zugangsdienst of Germany's electronic health card. He ran Europe's first car-hacking workshop at Confidence in Cracow and has presented at security conferences in Odessa, Budapest, and Cracow. In the last year, he dove deep into Berlin's AI scene, publishing his own apps and building Industry 4.0 ecosystems. Hosted at Smart Cooperative Germany as the part of WorkCoopHub projects, funded by BMWE.

They have a too-much-going-on problem. Too many elements, too many layers, too many decisions left unmade. The track loses its identity somewhere in the process. This workshop is about finding it again. **Biesmans** — Berlin-based producer and DJ with nearly 30 years in the house and techno scene — opens up his actual working process in real time. No slides, no theory, no tutorial. Just a real track getting meaningfully better in front of the room. **How it works:** Participants submit an unfinished track in advance. Biesmans selects one, preps it, and works on it live during the session — talking through every decision as he makes it. The rest of the time is open Q&A where participants can bring their own questions and challenges. **Format:** * Duration: 3 hours * Participants submit one track + one question before the workshop * Live session: 90–120 minutes * Open Q&A: 60 minutes * Wrap + next steps: 15 minutes

I’m organising a coworking + socialising session for all of us who are working on projects (e.g. our own creations, freelance or remote work) but don't feel like sitting alone at home. 🙂 To ensure that we have time for both socialising AND working, we will be using the so-called “Pomodoro” technique: **50 mins deep work** (silent), followed by **10 mins break** to socialise. And then repeat! You are welcome to join whatever your personal background is, and whatever project you are working on. I (the host) speak English and German, so either language is fine. ——————————————————- AGENDA: * **Short Intro** Tell us who you are and share something about what you will be working on today * **Pomodoro Session** \- 3x \(3h\) Each Pomodoro session consists of 50 mins focused “deep work” (no talking, no interruptions, **phones on silent mode**) -> then 10 mins break: a chance to share your progress with others -> Repeat * **15 mins Wrap Up** Celebrate what you achieved and get to know others 😊 ———— The location is **Espresso House near Checkpoint Charlie** (they have multiple outlets - so be sure to go to the correct one!) Wifi + power plugs are available - but best to bring a fully charged laptop, just in case 🙃 You **do not** have to pay anything.
