Whether you sing in the shower, were in choir in high school, have a degree or no experience at all we would love to have you in The Alliance. This is a low pressure event where you can meet the chorus, see how we run our rehearsals and even sing a bit if you’d like. If you love it, we can chat about what joining looks like, but we’re just happy you came to check us out. Unable to come on the 13th? We rehearse every Thursday at Lord of Life 7pm-10pm. Under-the-Radar Gem: TONY at the Drexel Theatre!

Join us as we get together to see the biographical-drama, TONY! The film follows a young Anthony Bourdain and his early years working in Provincetown, Massachusetts. Here’s a description, trailer and plan for this event: DESCRIPTION: The film is set in 1976 where a 19-year-old Anthony Bourdain wants to be a writer. But, when he takes a summer job working for a Brazilian-born restaurateur, it sets a course that will shape the rest of his life. TONY is co-written and directed by Matt Johnson and stars Dominic Sessa (who many of you will remember from 2023’s excellent film The Holdovers) along with Emilia Jones, Dagmara Domińczyk, Rich Sommer, Stavros Halkias, Leo Woodall and Antonio Banderas. Columbus Code & Coffee is an inclusive, informal co-working session. People of all skill levels attend, and we love it that way. Many people (optionally) bring projects to work on, and many other people (optionally) socialize the entire time. It's entirely up to you! **What to Expect at the Intro Circle** \~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~\~ Near the beginning of the event (1:30 pm), we do a standup: * Organizer announcements, updates, and logistics Round 1 - (7 secs max): * Your name * What you're working on * What you can help others with Round 2: * Community events you wanna plug. If none, that's cool too. Round 3: * Job opportunities you're hiring for OR announce that you are looking for one. If none, that's cool. After the introduction circle, everything is self-organized!
